Wrecked Hearts presents two stories of sci-fi shojo romance set in Valentine Seiche's Wrecked Ship universe. In Oliveri's "The Real Thing," a high school student (who is also shapeshifting alien) goes on a class trip, hoping to get closer to the classmate she has a crush on. In Kitteh's "Dark Energy," a journalist and the pilot of a greenhouse spaceship become close friends, but an encounter with a mysterious object floating in space threatens to come between them.
